Do we need to achieve or attract anything?
Having read a lot of books about visualisation, attraction, manifestation and so on I realise that there is no separation between us and God/the Presence - we are divine expressions of the creative principle. There can be no real lack or scarcity; there is nothing we have to try to achieve or attract; we contain the potential for everything with us.

There's only one thing that can separate us from God - sin. I doubt if your books explained that obstacle. Fortunately the separation was removed one dark day outside Jerusalem, and the thick tapestry in the temple, separating the Holy place from the Most Holy place, was rent from top to bottom, showing that the way into the very presence of God was now open. What peace comes to those who rest in what Christ achieved!
